Ulrika Spacek have announced their fourth album, EXPO, which is set to arrive on February 6 via Full Time Hobby. The experimental indie rock band have today previewed the follow-up to 2023’s Compact Trauma with the drowsy new single ‘Build a Box Then Break It’. Check it out below.
“Our music has always been a collage — a bit patchwork, sonically — but what makes this album a landmark for us is that we went one step further and made our own sound bank and essentially sampled ourselves,” the group said in a statement, adding, “We make decisions for the greater good, and we are greater than the sum of our parts.”
