Hell Kitchen’s masked crusader is back to fight another day. Daredevil: Born Again just premiered its second season on Disney+. Last year, it drew an impressive 7.5 million views in its first days of availability, proving that the character still has plenty of fans.
The series is a revival of Daredevil, which was originally released on Netflix. Now, it shares continuity with the other Marvel Cinematic Universe shows and movies, making it appointment viewing. Does that mean a third season is already on the way?
Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 Release Date
Daredevil: Born Again season 3 is definitely coming, hopefully in early 2027. Filming is underway, so production should be on schedule. For now, we still have the rest of the second season to look forward to.

What Could Happen in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3?
Daredevil: Born Again revolves around Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer who secretly operates as the vigilante Daredevil. After stepping back from his masked life, Matt tries to focus on getting justice through the legal system. However, things change when his old enemy, Wilson Fisk (Kingpin), rises to mayor of New York.
The second season ups the stakes. Matt and Karen Page continue their quest to oppose Fisk, now incredibly powerful. The story becomes one of resistance, with Daredevil rallying the troops. It also marks the return of Jessica Jones, played by Krysten Ritter. Timeline-wise, it fits between Thunderbolts* and Wonder Man.
As for Daredevil: Born Again season 3, it will follow a new era. Star Charlie Cox hinted that Fisk’s reign won’t last forever, and teased a “new dawn.” While the reveal is a bit of a spoiler, it will still be exciting to see exactly how the mayor is brought down.
You can catch season 2 episodes weekly on Disney+, with the finale scheduled to drop in early May, followed by TV special Punisher: One Last Kill.
