Jessica Pratt and Destroyer have both retained a reputation as enigmatic indie singer-songwriters, and they don’t do a lot of TV appearances. Last night, though, they guested together on the latest episode of Netflix’s Everybody’s Live With John Mulaney. Dan Bejar performed ‘Travel Light’, the closing track from his new Destroyer album Dan’s Boogie, which transitioned into ‘World on a String’ – sung acoustically by Pratt before Destroyer joined in. Mulaney described it as a “musical collaborative medley that all of us at the show have been looking forward to for weeks.” Check out a clip from the loungey, mystical performance below.
