Debby Friday is a Nigerian-Canadian polymath who came of age in the clubs of her native Toronto. Starting out as a DJ, she released a pair of noisy EPs before her debut album, Good Luck, arrived via Sub Pop in early 2023. The kaleidoscopic The Starrr Of The Queen of Life followed in 2025.
