Elanor Moss, a London-based singer-songwriter we interviewed for our Artist Spotlight series back in 2022, has signed to Merge Records. To mark the news, she’s shared the new song ‘Again, My Love’, which accentuates her gorgeous voice and fingerpicking with subtle touches of horn and saxophone. “Again, my love/ We’re at another open door again/Something lost for something gained again/ Swapping sunshine for the rain again,” she sings. Take a listen below.
“It’s a song that reflects on change, the nature of change being something that requires you to lose things, and that’s okay, and actually really good,” Moss explained in a statement. “I wrote it when I was really having a rough time. I was living a troubadour existence for the past couple of years, flitting between different places, and the uncertainty of that way of living was really getting to me. I think that one is a song for me, that I was trying to make a bit more universal.”
‘Again, My Love’ marks Moss’s first new music since 2023’s Cosmic EP.
