Angélica Salvi Anounces New Album ‘Habitat’, Unveils Video for New Single

Porto-based harpist Angélica Salvi has announced her new album Habitat, which will be released on November 4 via Lovers & Lollypops. Following her 2019 debut Phantone, the record is led by the single ‘Crina’, which means mane or horsehair in Portuguese and is about “the feeling of riding a horse… A journey into the unknown,” according to Salvi. It comes with an accompanying video directed by Portuguese filmmaker André Gil Mata. Check it out below.

“He said he really enjoys to look at my hands when I play. He says it is like a dance,” Salvi said of working with André Gil Mata. “He imagined my hands mimetized with a natural habitat. I told him I was imagining a mimetic atmosphere in the whole album: with water, plants, sand… so he chose plants, moss and water.”
