Hailing from Golden, Texas, Kacey Musgraves started writing songs and performing publicly at age 8. After a string of independently released records, she signed with Mercury Records and released Same Trailer Different Park in 2013. Bending country tradition even as she evoked its classic sounds, the singer followed it up with Pageant Material in 2015. Her fourth studio album, Golden Hour, won Album of the Year at the 2019 Grammys. In 2021, she released the more pop-leaning star-crossed, and in 2023 scored her first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with the Zach Bryan duet ‘I Remember Everything’. Her sixth LP, Deeper Well, arrived in March 2024.
