Moses Sumney has announced a new EP, Sophcore, which will drop on August 2 via his label Tuntum. It includes the previously shared single ‘Vintage’, and along with the announcement, the singer-songwriter has unveiled the song ‘Gold Coast’. Check it out below.
“Sophcore explores the meeting points between sensuality and intuition … esotericism and populism … deep feeling and fun,” Sumney said in a statement “It’s diving into subterranean rhythm, bass and drums, and making music for the hips as well as the heart.”
Sumney recently made his motion picture debut in A24’s Ti West-directed MaXXXine. In 2021, he put out the live album Blackalachia. His most recent studio album was 2020’s Græ.
