Born in England to a Brazilian father and a Greek mother, Naima Bock spent her early childhood in Sao Paolo before relocating to South London, where she formed the post-punk band Goat Girl. Bock parted ways with the group following the release of their 2018 self-titled album, and released her debut solo LP, Giant Palm, in 2022.
