“These songs come from the spiciest, most goofy, glitter gloss place in my psyche,” De Souza explained in a statement. “I wasn’t really thinking very hard when I wrote them. I was just having so much fun. I am continuously inspired by the sounds and energy brought by my collaborators, Elliott Kozel and Jesse Schuster. They are always making me laugh and bringing out the silliest version of me. I would not have discovered this new space without them. Listening to these songs fills me with gratitude for the playful musical connection we have, as well as everlasting friendship. My baseline existence can be pretty heavy and complicated, but these songs made me deeply joyous the whole time I was working on them.”

Agriculture singer/bassist Leah B. Levinson has shared a new track under the name Cali Bellow. ‘LFG!!!! (i just died)’ is the second offering from her fifth LP Ciao Bella, which arrives October 25 via Fiadh Productions. Give it a listen below.

“Lyrically, the second verse was inspired by a trip to Long Beach with some friends to celebrate my partner’s birthday,” Levinson explained in a statement. “I stood on a tall cliff overlooking the ocean with my longtime friend Pluto Bell. We barely spoke, but I quickly became overwhelmed with emotion and began to cry, which caused them to start crying too. The vastness of the ocean, the closeness of my friend, and my awareness of my own mortality and smallness in the grand scheme of things all hit me at once.”

Rose Gray Announces Debut Album, Shares New Single ‘Switch’

0

Rose Gray has announced her debut album: Louder, Please drops on January 17 via Play It Again Sam. Today’s announcement comes with the release of the new single ‘Switch’, alongside a Vasso Vu-directed music video. Check it out below.

“Switching things up is hot and we don’t talk about it enough,” Gray commented in a statement. “Why must we be defined as one role in a relationship or personality type?”

Louder, Please boasts collaborations with Justin Tranter (Lady Gaga, Chappel Roan), Zhone (Troye Sivan), Sega Bodega, Uffie, and Alex Metric. “I’ve always been obsessed with LOUD music, from late night car journeys with my Popps as a kid to spending my teens glued to the speakers of clubs,” Gray said, continuing:

The album title was born on the mic, a running joke where I was always asking for things to be louder (please). I’ve spent ten years writing for myself and others, exploring different cities and their parties – but I’ve always known that I was working towards a body of work that brought all that together, and represented all sides of me. There’s definitely something in my personality which loves the adventure, and is always searching for more: I’ve also had my heart broken, fallen back in love, and become a woman in the process. To me, Louder, Please captures the rave, the ethereal, my friends and our stories: it’s classic pop with its roots firmly in the underground. On a beach or in a club, I want these songs to find their homes in someone else’s life. So enjoy – but make sure you play it LOUD, please?

What To Expect During a Nevada Personal Injury Lawsuit

Navigating a personal injury lawsuit in Nevada can be a confusing and daunting task. It’s essential to understand the legal processes and know what to expect as you seek justice for your injury. From the moment you decide to file a lawsuit to the final verdict or settlement, each step has its unique challenges and requirements. Below, we break down the various stages of a personal injury lawsuit in the Silver State, so you can be better prepared for the road ahead.

Working With Personal Injury Lawyers in Nevada

Teaming up with experienced personal injury lawyers in Las Vegas Nevada, can significantly influence the outcome of your lawsuit. A skilled lawyer can provide you with in-depth knowledge of state laws, help in conducting investigations, and represent you during negotiations or litigation. Their expertise is invaluable in assembling a strong case on your behalf.

Your attorney will serve as your guide throughout the legal process, helping you understand complex terminology and legal requirements. They will manage the filing of crucial court documents, take charge of gathering evidence, and prepare you for any appearances or testimonies that may be required.

A key role of your lawyer is to advocate for your rights and seek the maximum compensation possible. Whether through settlement discussions or arguing your case in court, they will work to convince the opposing side, or the jury, of the validity of your claims. Your choice of attorney may often make the difference between a favorable outcome and a less satisfactory one.

Key Stages in a Nevada Personal Injury Case

A Nevada personal injury case unfolds in several key stages. The first is the consultation with a personal injury attorney, where you discuss the circumstances of your injury and the potential for a claim. This step involves assessing the merits of your case and estimating its value based on the facts and applicable law.

Following an initial consultation, the next stage entails the formal filing of a lawsuit if settlement negotiations do not result in a satisfactory outcome. This involves preparing legal documents, such as pleadings, and officially starting the litigation process by submitting them to the court.

Discovery is another critical phase wherein both parties exchange information concerning the case. This includes written questions, requests for documentation, and depositions of parties and witnesses. It’s a process that can be lengthy and requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure that all pertinent evidence is disclosed.

Calculating Damages and Compensation in Nevada

The calculation of damages in a Nevada personal injury case hinges on both economic and non-economic factors. Economic damages include calculable costs such as medical bills, lost wages, and property damage. They are typically substantiated by concrete evidence like receipts, invoices, and expert testimony on the future costs of medical care.

Non-economic damages, on the other hand, cover intangible losses such as pain and suffering, emotional distress, and loss of enjoyment of life. Estimating these damages often requires a more nuanced approach, including expert opinions and a detailed examination of the impact the injury has had on the plaintiff’s lifestyle.

In instances where the defendant’s conduct is deemed exceptionally reckless or intentional, punitive damages may also be awarded. These are designed to punish the wrongdoer and deter similar behavior in the future. Understanding how to argue for these types of compensation and their limits under Nevada law is a critical part of a personal injury case.

Timeline Expectations for Nevada Personal Injury Lawsuits

The timeline of a Nevada personal injury lawsuit can vary greatly based on the case’s complexity, court caseload, and the willingness of both parties to negotiate a settlement. In general, it’s reasonable to expect a personal injury lawsuit in Nevada to take several months to a couple of years from start to finish.

Trial dates are subject to the court’s schedule and can be subject to change. While some cases resolve within a year, others may extend beyond that, especially if there are appeals or complex legal issues that require clarification. Keeping open lines of communication with your legal team can help you stay updated on anticipated timelines.

Overall, understanding what’s involved in a Nevada personal injury lawsuit is key to successfully navigating this complicated process. Remember, the right attorney can help streamline the experience, advocate for your best interests, and work towards obtaining the compensation you deserve for your injuries and losses.
