Taking its name from the Soho café Bar Italia, the London-based trio is composed of Nina Cristante (vocals), Sam Fenton (vocals, guitar), and Jezmi Tarik Fehmi (vocals, guitar). After releasing several records and singles through World Music, the label founded by London musicians Dean Blunt and Inga Cope, they signed with Matador Records in 2023.
