    Beth Gibbons

    Raised on a farm in Exeter, Devon, England, Beth Gibbons is best known as the lead singer and lyricist for the band Portishead, who have released three seminal albums. In 2002, she released a collaborative album with Rustin Man, Out of Season, recorded a rendition of Górecki’s Symphony No. 3 with the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in 2019, and appeared on Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Mother I Sober’ in 2022. Her debut solo album, Lives Outgrown, arrived in May 2022.
