Album reviewClaire Elizabeth Cottrill is a singer-songwriter who began posting music on the internet at age 13. Following the viral success of her lo-fi single ‘Pretty Girl’ in 2017, she released her debut EP Diary 001 the following year via Fader Label. After working with Rostam Batmanglij on her 2019 debut LP Immunity and Jack Antonoff on 2021’s Sling, Clairo co-produced Charm with El Michels Affair’s Leon Michels.
