Foxing formed in 2011 after the dissolution of Hunter Gatherer, a post-rock project that featured common members including bass player Josh Coll and drummer Jon Hellwig. Currently composed of Hellwig, Conor Murphy, Eric Hudson, and Brett Torrence, the band has since released five studio albums.
