Originally from New Jersey and currently based in Los Angeles, Sharon Katharine Van Etten has released Because I Was in Love (2009), Epic (2010), Tramp (2012), Are We There (2014), Remind Me Tomorrow (2019), We’ve Been Going About This All Wrong (2022) and Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory (2025). The Attachment Theory is the name of her backing band, which comprises Devra Hoff (bass, backing vocals), Teeny Lieberson (keyboards, guitar, backing vocals) and Jorge Balbi (drums).
