Alicia Keys and Khalid Team Up on New Single ‘So Done’

Alicia Keys and Khalid have teamed up for a new song called ‘So Done’. The single is taken from Keys’ upcoming album ALICIA and comes with an accompanying music video directed by Andy Hines and featuring American Honey actress Sasha Lane, in which the two artists perform onstage at a high school prom. Check it out below.

“I’m so excited to share ‘So Done’ with the world,” Keys said of the track. “We call it a trance! The energy is inescapable! Collaborating with Khalid on this one was very special. This song is about being done with changing yourself for the sake of others and letting go of any one else’s ideas of how your life should look.”

The follow-up to 2016’s HERE is set to come out later this year via RCA Records. ‘So Done’ follows Keys’ previously released single ‘Underdog’ as well as her collaborative single with Miguel called ‘Show Me Love’. Back in June, Keys shared the Black Lives Matter-inspired ‘Perfect Way to Die’.
