Gorillaz Announce New Four-Part Apple Music Radio Show

    Gorillaz have announced a new four-part Apple Music radio show called Song Machine Radio. Each hour-long episode will be hosted by a different member of the cartoon outfit and will include music selections, special guests, and “segments with Gorillaz co-founders Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett.” The first episode, which debuts on Monday (October 19) at 10pm BST, will be hosted by 2D.

    The show’s announcement comes in the lead-up to the release of Gorillaz’s new full-length project, Song Machine: Season One – Strange Timez, which compiles songs from their Song Machine single series. It’s set to come out on October 23. In addition to previously released collaborations with Elton John, Robert SmithSlowthai, OctavianSchoolboy Q, and others, it will also will also feature contributions from the likes of St. Vincent, Beck, EarthGang, CHAI, and GoldLink.
