Jenny Lewis and Serengeti Team Up on New Song ‘Unblu’

Jenny Lewis and Chicago rapper Serengeti have teamed up on a new song called ‘Unblu’. Released via Lewis’ Loves Way label, the track was produced by Lewis and Andrew Broder. Take a listen below.

According to a statement penned by Lewis and Serengeti, ‘Unblue’ is apparently one of many songs the duo made during quarantine. “The result is five songs made on Jenny’s iPhone, for Dave. Beats, bass, drums, digital tanpura & topline, sent via text, ripe for Dave’s poetry,” they write. “To accompany the music, Jenny made videos on her phone during the witching hours, editing while under the covers.”

Serengeti released an album called Ajai earlier this year. Lewis’ most recent solo LP was 2019’s On the Line
