Mitski has announced she will be returning with new music tomorrow (October 5). A new post on her Twitter account @mitskileaks (which is now being run by her management, according to its bio) suggests that a new song will be released at 10 am ET (3pm BST) on Tuesday, October 5. The tweet includes a link to YouTube video titled ‘New Song Tomorrow – 10AM ET’. Check out the post below.
Mitski released her last album, Be the Cowboy in June 2019. The singer-songwriter played what she said would be her “last show indefinitely” in September of that year, though she clarified this did not mean she would be “quitting music.” She’s since shared a song for Floria Sigismondi’s horror film The Turning, collaborated on music with Allie X, and composed the soundtrack for Chris Miskiewicz and Vincent Kings’ graphic novel This Is Where We Fall.
