Mac DeMarco Covers ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas’

Continuing his annual Christmas song series, Mac DeMarco has shared a cover of the holiday classic ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas’, which was first released by Bing Crosby in 1943. DeMarco’s rendition comes with an accompanying video in which a tree searches for a place to call home. “I hope your holiday season is full of love and tree,” DeMarco wrote in the video’s description. Check it out below.

Last year, Mac DeMarco offered his take on ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’. More recently, he teamed up with experimental pop artist Jean Dawson for the new song ‘MENTHOL*’, which landed on our Best New Songs segment.
