Caroline Polachek Releases Video for New Song ‘Billions’

Caroline Polachek has released a new song called ‘Billions’. The track, co-produced by Polachek and Danny L Harle and featuring London’s Trinity Boys & Girls Choir, comes with a video co-directed by Polachek and Matt Copson. Check it out below.

“The overabundance of this world overwhelms me,” Polachek said of ‘Billions’ in a statement. “Sometimes it seems like ultimate tragedy, the earth being pillaged and destroyed for it. Sometimes it seems pre-human, beyond morality, sublime. I don’t pick sides, I just live here, with you. How does it feel, being so rich?”

The new single will be part of a 7″ vinyl with a B-side featuring a rework of Polachek’s recent Oneohtrix Point Never collaboration ‘Long Road Home’, which you can also hear below. Since releasing her 2021 single ‘Bunny Is a Rider’, Caroline Polachek has teamed up with Christine and Charli XCX for ‘New Shapes’ and joined Murkage Dave on ‘Awful Things’.
