The Afghan Whigs Announce First New Album in 5 Years, Share New Song

The Afghan Whigs have announced their first new studio album in 5 years. How Do You Burn? will be released on September 9 via Royal Cream/BMG. Today’s announcement comes with the release of the new single ‘The Getaway’, alongside an accompanying video. Check it out below, and scroll down for the band’s upcoming tour dates.

Following 2017’s In Spades, the new album features the voice of the late Mark Lanegan on two tracks. “It was Mark who named the album,” frontman Greg Dulli said. Susan Marshall, Van Hunt, and Marcy Mays also contributed to the record.

Back in February, the Afghan Whigs returned with a new song called ‘I’ll Make You See God’.
