Newport Jazz Festival has announced the lineup for its 2023 edition. The 69th anniversary edition of the festival will take place at Fort Adams State Park in Rhode Island from August 4 to 6, with Herbie Hancock, Jon Batiste, and Thundercat topping the bill. Kamasi Washington, Diana Krall, Big Freedia, Domi & JD Beck, Charles Lloyd, Arooj Aftab (with Vijay Iyer and Shahzad Ismaily), Samara Joy, Cautious Clay, Anderson .Paak’s alter ego DJ Pee, Big Gigantic, Alfa Mist, and more are also set to perform.
