Jorja Smith Announces New Album ‘failing or flying’

Jorja Smith has announced that her new album, failing or flying, will be released on September 29 via FAMM. “I don’t slow down enough,” Smith said in a statement. “This album is like my brain. There’s always so much going on but each song is definitely a standstill moment.”

“It touches on breakups, relationships with my friends, relationships with old friends, relationships with myself,” she added. “It’s definitely about a lot of relationships, but every song I write I can sing it to myself.”

failing or flying will follow Smith’s 2018 debut, Lost & Found, as well as 2021’s Be Right Back EP. Earlier this year, the singer shared the singles ‘Little Things’ and ‘Try Me’.
