Just recently, Brad Walls, the photographer known for captivating aerial photography, unveiled a magnificent series titled Swan Lake Meets Salt Lake. For the series, Walls united with The New York City Ballet to create a collaborative series that explores the intriguing story of Swan Lake.
The series utilised the beautiful art of ballet with scenic views of the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. To make the collaboration happen, Walls used a single dancer Sasonah Huttenbach, a member of the New York City Ballet’s Corp de Ballet. On his decision, Walls stated, “Utilising different dancers would have diminished the poignant symmetrical struggle that I aimed to convey in my photography.”
Here are some photos from the series Swan Lake Meets Salt Lake.
