Golden Globes 2024: Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, and Bruce Springsteen Nominated

    The nominations for the 2024 Golden Globes have been announced. Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift, and Mica Levi are among the musicians up for awards. Barbie dominates the Best Song category with three nods: Ryan Gosling’s ‘I’m Just Ken’, Dua Lipa’s ‘Dance the Night’, and Billie Eilish‘s ‘What Was I Made For?’, which are up against Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Addicted to Romance’ from She Came to Me, Lenny Kravitz’s ‘Road to Freedom’ from Rustin, and ‘Peaches’ from The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

    In the Best Original Score, Motion Picture category, the nominations are: Ludwig Göransson for Oppenheimer, Jerskin Fendrix for Poor Things, the late Robbie Robertson for Killers of the Flower Moon, Mica Levi for The Zone of Interest, Daniel Pemberton for Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, and Joe Hisaishi for The Boy and the Heron.

    Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour movie is nominated in a new category called Cinematic and Box Office Achievement alongside Barbie, Oppenheimer, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, John Wick: Chapter 4, Guardians of Galaxy Vol 3, and Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning.

    On the television side, Daisy Jones & the Six was nominated for Best TV Series (Limited, Anthology, or TV Movie). Selena Gomez is up for Best Television Female Actor – Musical/Comedy Series for her work in Only Murders In The Building, while Fantasia Barrino earned a nomination for Best Female Actor – Motion Picture – Musical/Comedy for The Color Purple.

    The 2024 Golden Globe Awards ceremony will take place on January 7 at the Beverly Hilton and air live on CBS and Paramount+.
