David Nance & Mowed Sound Release New Song ‘Tumbleweed’

Omaha-based musician David Nance has released a new single from his project David Nance & Mowed Sound. Lifted from their self-titled debut album, which has already been previewed with ‘Mock the Hours’, ‘Tumbleweed’ was written in less than five minutes in a car ride on July 4, 2021, according to a press release. Check it out below.

“This was an effortless tune to record,” Nance explained. “Everything fell into place quite easy. Pearl [LoveJoy Boyd] steals the show with her beautiful harmonies. Skye’s flute is lovely. If you listen closely, you can hear Kevin’s over caffeinated hands skittering the brushes on the snare. Definitely my happy place on the record.”

David Nance & Mowed Sound is set for release on February 9 on Third Man Records.
