A24 has unveiled the first trailer for MaXXXine, the much-anticipated final entry in the trilogy of slashers from writer-director Ti West and actress Mia Goth. In addition to Goth, Kevin Bacon, Elizabeth Debicki, and Giancarlo Esposito, musicians Moses Sumney and Halsey also feature in the trailer. Watch it below.
MaXXXine serves as a direct sequel to the franchise’s original entry, which came out in 2022. Its prequel, Pearl, came out that same year.
Halsey previously had cameos in Bradley Cooper’s A Star Is Born and Teen Titans Go! to the Movies. She’s also set to appear in the forthcoming crime film Americana. Moses Sumney made his acting debut in the Weeknd’s HBO series The Idol.
