Explore the latest trends and comments for the future potential of this series below.

    Ted Lasso Season 4 Makes Season 3’s Ending Less Satisfying

    Ted Lasso is a successful series that represents the story of an American football coach who was hired for a British soccer team. Despite lacking the knowledge of technical aspects, his determination helps make up for it. The 3rd season aired in March of 2023 and ended in the same year. But there is no clear confirmation for the end of the series.

    The hope of having Ted Lasso season 4 is hurting the ending of season 3. It’s been a year since it was aired, but still, there is no official update on Ted Lasso season 4 release date. There are mixed statements about the upcoming season that are confusing people about the ending of season 3.

    The last episode of season 3 does feel like the end of the series, but the comments from the creators and cast empower the hopes of people for Ted Lasso season 4. It is also a popular show on Apple TV+ that raises more hope for the next season.

    The ending of season 3 shows the final goodbye of Ted Lasso to the AFC Richmond, Rebecca with most of the ownership, and Roy as the head coach. It leaves the fans with mixed emotions of satisfaction and impatience. While fans are waiting for what will happen in the next season, Goldstein’s appearance in Shrinking Season 2 is exciting news for them.

    Ted Lasso Creators & Cast Comments

    After the end of season 3, many have shared comments on the question, “is there a Ted Lasso season 4.” During an interview, the chairman of Warner Bros. TV Group, Channing Dungey, stated that the story will continue on Apple TV+.

    “I mean, you watched the finale, there’s a little bit of a door that could be kicked back open if need be.”

    Moreover, there is also a surge of interest in the fourth season from people involved with the drama. On the red carpet premiere for season 3, reporters shows interest in Jason Sudeikis Ted Lasso season 4 on which he said,

    “I mean, there’s always Cameo, right? This is the end of this story that we wanted to tell, that we were hoping to tell, that we loved to tell. The fact that folks will want more and are curious beyond more than what they don’t even know yet—that being Season 3—it’s flattering. Maybe by May 31, once all 12 episodes of the season [have been released], they’re like, ‘Man, you know what, we get it, we’re fine. We don’t need anymore, we got it.’ But until that time comes, I will appreciate the curiosity beyond what we’ve come up with so far.”

    Moreover, the director and the supervising producer of Ted Lasso stated that;

    “Everybody knew [Ted Lasson season 3] was the end, but it’s also the end for now. It’s going to be two or three years before anything happens — if anything happens.”

    The Ted Lasso actor Nick Mohammed, who played the role of Nate Shelley, also commented about the arrival of Ted Lasso season 4. He posted on X by saying,

    “One year to the day since #TedLasso wrapped. And one year to the day that I accidentally posted this spoiler of Nate in the AFC Richmond kit! Promise it won’t happen again on season 4- now wait.”

    Will Ted Lasso Have A Season 4?

    There seems to be more potential for the upcoming season of Ted Lasso. Juno Temple, who played the role of Keeley Jones in the series, shows skepticism about it in an interview in January 2024. She says;

    “Doing a spinoff, I feel nervous to do anything without it being the whole team, because we were such a team,” said Temple. “But that being said, it is imperative that I find something to do with Hannah [Waddingham] again at some point, because I love that woman profoundly.”

    She also shared her thoughts about leaving behind the Keeley after Ted Lasso is over.

    “I’m actually quite grateful for the fact that I didn’t have a long window of goodbye with Keeley — because I’m obviously going to miss her,” admitted Temple. “She was a really happy person to play, even though she had her complicated moments and went through a lot, too. She’s somebody who wants everybody to feel the best they can that day. That was a very precious character to have gotten to play for three years.”

    Final Words

    The ending of season 3 shows the finale, but the comments from the creators and cast show some potential for the Ted Lasso season 4. However, Juno Temple expresses skepticism that imposes a powerful potential for the new series rather than Ted Lasso.
