American Culture Release New Song ‘Body Double’

Denver band American Culture have put out a new track, ‘Body Double’, lifted from their upcoming album Hey Brother, It’s Been a While. It follows previous cuts ‘Let It Go’ and ‘Survive’. Check out the Brendan MacLeod-directed video for it below.

Hey Brother, It’s Been a While is due for release on May 3 through Convulse Records. Recorded with Beach House/Tennis drummer James Barone, the LP explores singer and guitarist Michael Stein’s experience with homelessness and addiction. “Michael was homeless last year–he was a missing person for three months. We thought he was dead,” co-vocalist/guitarist Chris Adolf explained in a statement. “So a lot of his songs are about that experience, and then my songs are about the other end–thinking my friend is gone. It’s almost as if we were writing back and forth.”
