Karate Announce First New Album in 20 Years, Share New Songs

In 2022, the Boston post-hardcore band Karate reunited for their first shows in 17 years. Today, they’ve announced their first album since 2004’s Pockets. It’s called Make It Fit, and it’s out October 18 via Numero Group. Today’s announcement comes with the release of two new songs, ‘Defendants’ and ‘Silence, Sound’. The trio laid down the new LP with longtime collaborator Andy Hong in Nashville this past Januar. Hong also mixed the album, and Geoff Farina added guitars and vocals at his home studio and Chicago’s Experimental Sound Studio.
