Bon Iver have announced a video for the new song ‘S P E Y S I D E’, which was announced earlier this week. Today, they’ve revealed it’s taken from a new EP called SABLE,, which arrives October 18 via Jagjaguwar. Check out the Erinn Springer-directed clip for ‘S P E Y S I D E’ below.
Sable, wrote the new songs from 2020 to 2023 and produced them at his April Base studio in Wisconsin with Jim-E Stack. “SABLE, is named for near-blackness,” according to press materials, “the record an externalized projection of his turmoil. This trio of songs represents an unburdening from one of the most trying eras in Vernon’s life. There was a time not long ago where Vernon intentionally hid his face. Here, the blinds are open.”
