You know what goes well with spring? A swoony, slow-burn romance. Apparently, we aren’t the only ones who subscribe to this belief. New series Sold Out on You has been doing numbers on Netflix.

The Korean production, which premiered recently, is currently the most-watched non-English show on the platform. With 4.7 million views this week, it’s also the #1 show in eight countries. Does that mean a second season is on the way?

Sold Out on You Season 2 Release Date

What Is Sold Out on You About?

Sold Out on You brings together the fast-paced world of televised retail and the quiet rhythms of rural life. In other words, it blends workplace ambition with a slow-burn love story.

The plot follows Dam Ye-jin, a top-performing host at a home-shopping network. On the surface, she’s successful and driven. Off-screen, she suffers from chronic insomnia and struggles with burnout. When her position is in jeopardy, she embraces a high-stakes opportunity to secure a deal with a cosmetics brand.

The mission leads her to a remote countryside village. There, she meets Matthew Lee, a mushroom farmer whose produce is crucial to the cosmetics formula.

From their first encounter, the two clash. Their interactions are marked by constant bickering, which takes us to classic opposites attract territory. Still, due to Ye-jin’s unusual work schedule and insomnia, their paths keep crossing at odd hours. Needless to say, these repeated encounters chip away at their defenses.

While Sold Out on You season 2 is unlikely to happen, the series is just getting started. Double episodes roll out weekly until May 28. Let the swooning commence.
