Colombian artist Ela Minus and Brooklyn-by-way-of Miami producer Nick León have announced a new collaborative EP. qué les pasó a mis amigos? will land on August 7 via Domino’s Smugglers Way. Today’s announcement comes with the release of the hypnotically propulsive track ‘espiral’, which you can check out below.
“It was so free,” León said of the collaborative process. “There were unspoken understandings of what we wanted to do. That’s not normal.” Minus added, “We immediately felt this kinship.”
Minus previously enlisted León to remix ‘QQQQ’, a single from her latest record DÍA, while León recruited Minus for ‘Ghost Orchid’ from 2025’s Tropical Entropy.
