Living Weapon – the Boston metalcore/mathcore outfit helmed by Vein.fm bassist/backing vocalist Jonathan Lhaubouet – have announced their debut LP, Death in the Family. It’s set to drop on August 14 digitally, with physical release to follow in September, through Closed Casket Activities. Check out a video for the gruelling lead single ‘The Leaving Process’ below.
Death in the Family was recorded, produced, and engineered by guitarist Jeremy Martin between fall 2025 and spring 2026. Taylor Young of The Pit Recording Studio mixed the record, which was mastered by Nick Townsend.
