Babehoven – the Hudson, NY-based project of singer-songwriter Maya Bon and producer and multi-instrumentalist Ryan Albert – have shared a new single, ‘Three Reds’. It’s the latest offering from their forthcoming album I See Them, I See Me, which arrives September 18 via Double Double Whammy. Check it out below.
“‘Three Reds’ is inspired by a game we play on tour — we gain points by counting cars of the same color passing by,” Bon explained in a statement. “The song plays with synesthesia and the tension between concealment and exposure, sitting with the idea that we are made of the same stuff as everything that came before us, and how that can feel like both a warning and a celebration at the same time.”
