Lanterns Season 2 Release Date
At the time of writing, there is no official news available about a potential Lanterns season 2. That said, it’s early days.
Only two episodes are available so far, with more scheduled to arrive over the next few weeks. As long as viewers keep tuning in, a second installment is likely, especially when you consider that the writers are already working on what’s next.
“We feel good that we told the story in season one well. The question is whether [season two] is a story people are interested in. If that’s the case, then we’ll get to do another one. We’ll tell it in a slightly different way, so that it feels fresh, with characters you know and care about,” co-creator Chris Mundy told The Hollywood Reporter.
He also revealed that he’s been mapping out season 2 for a while, so things should move quickly once the show gets renewed. If all goes well, new episodes could arrive in late 2027.
