Sometimes, a show needs time to find its footing. That seems to be the case with Tires, the Netflix sitcom that initially appeared to be built exclusively around comedian Shane Gillis. As more episodes dropped, however, it grew into an entertaining ensemble comedy.
Even better, people keep tuning in. Season 3, which recently dropped on the platform, amassed 2.8 million views this week alone. Moreover, Tires has already spent two weeks on Netflix’s charts, so it’s enjoying some momentum. Could this mean a follow-up is on the way? Here’s what we know so far.
Tires Season 4 Release Date
At the time of writing, there is no official news available about a potential Tires season 4. That said, it’s early days.
Viewership numbers are strong, and the series can’t be particularly expensive to make. A renewal could be right around the corner. As long as Netflix gives the green light, new episodes are likely to arrive in 2027.

What Is Tires About?
A raunchy workplace sitcom, Tires stars Shane Gillis as Shane, a foul-mouthed mechanic. He works alongside his cousin Will at his family’s struggling auto-repair shop, Valley Forge Automotive Center. Will is desperate to prove that he can turn the business around, but Shane’s refusal to grow up makes his job harder.
The show revolves around the dysfunctional garage and its employees. As a result, it mines comedy from customer interactions, workplace rivalries, family tension, and the characters’ questionable attempts to improve their lives. That makes it a fun watch, especially if you vibe with Gillis’ brand of humour.
In season 3, Valley Forge Auto is in financial trouble, putting even more pressure on Will and Shane to find ways to keep the shop profitable. The spotlight also lands on Shane’s romantic life, which gets increasingly messy. By the time the finale rolls around, a big change is coming, the kind that might force him to reevaluate his immature ways.
Whether or not that happens, it remains to be seen. Tires season 4 isn’t a sure thing yet, but we’re cautiously optimistic. There seems to be more story to tell.
