Radiohead Announce Shows in Australia and Japan

Last year, Radiohead played their first shows in seven years. They took the form of a series of multi-show residencies in European cities, and today, they’ve announced both a Japan and Australia residency set for 2027. The 21-show itinerary will take place in four cities next May and June. Registration for tickets is available now at the band’s website, which states no additional dates will be announced. (During this year’s Summer Sonic festival in Japan, a teaser featuring old Radiohead footage with the words “Tokyo 2027” appeared on screen. However, no Tokyo dates have been revealed.)

“Every year we’re going to do a different continent, and we’re going to do 20 shows each year,” guitarist Ed O’Brien told Rolling Stone last March. “No more, no less.”
