The War on Drugs are back with ‘Who’s That’, their first new music in four years. The stirring, steadily explosive single comes paired with a Max Flick-directed video, which you can check out below.
“’Who’s That’ was written in 10 minutes somewhere between first coffee and school drop off,” band leader Adam Granduciel explained in a press release. “It’s a song about trying to love yourself despite things we can’t always control, like the anxiety, depression and self-doubt that may stand in the way of living the life we truly desire.”
The War on Drugs’ last album was 2021’s I Don’t Live Here Anymore. Last year, Granduciel additionally co-produced and performed across Sam Fender’s People Watching.
