Indigo Sparke has announced her third album, There Is a Light on the Horizon Line. The singer-songwriter’s first album in over four years is set to arrive on February 12 via her newly-minted Everwilde Records imprint. It’s led by the bubbly, contemplative new single ‘Weird Fish’, which follows the previously released title track. Check it out and find the album cover and tracklist below.
“At its heart, ‘Weird Fish’ is a meditation on the strange intelligence of love,” Sparke explained in a statement. “How intimacy asks us to shed old patterns and imagine new ways of being together.”
After working with Adrianne Lenker and Aaron Dessner on her last two albums, Sparke tapped producer John Parish for There Is a Light on the Horizon Line. Now based in California, she decamped to Bristol to record at 33 weeks pregnant. Contributors on the record include Portishead’s Adrian Utley, Seb Rochford, Shahzad Ismaily, and longtime collaborator Adam Brisbin.
