Sunflower Bean have released a new single, ‘Teach Me to Be Bad’, which is taken from their forthcoming EP Shake – out September 27 via Lucky Number. According to the band, it’s about how “a chance meeting with a special person can change your life forever. It can be exhilarating and frightening to fall madly for someone you barely know.” Check it out below.
The video for ‘Teach Me to Be Bad’, also out today, is part of a short film built around the new EP, with each visual representing one of the natural elements: earth, wind, water, fire, and metal. The band will premiere the film at Roxy Cinema in NYC on September 23, an event that will feature a Q&A session with Sunflower Bean and director Isaac Roberts, as well as a showing of Dario Argento’s Deep Red (1975). Tickets are available here.
