Earlier this year, Real Estate released their latest album, Daniel, which was produced by Daniel Tashian – who the band listed as one of the inspirations behind the LP in our interview around the release. The album release show was only open to people with some variation of the name, and it opened with a cover of Elton John’s 1973 hit ‘Daniel’, which John himself called “really beautiful.” Real Estate have now released a studio rendition of the cover, which you can hear below.
