bar italia have announced a new album called Some Like It Hot – not coincidentally, as a press release points out, sharing its name with the 1959 film starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis, and Jack Lemmon about a group of rogue musicians. The follow-up to the trio’s 2023 records Tracey Denim and The Twits is out October 17 through Matador. The hooky, swaggering lead single ‘Fundraiser’, which follows early cut ‘Cowbell’, arrives today alongside a video featuring actor Matt King (Peep Show). Check it out below.
