Charli XCX has released ‘Wall of Sound’, her latest track for the Emerald Fennell-directed adaptation of Wuthering Heights. It’s not quite the experiment that was the John Cale collab ‘House’ or a pop song in the scale of ‘Chains Of Love’, but its vulnerability is striking. “Unbelievable tension,” she sings, and it will probably succeed in heightening the one in the film. Wuthering Heights arrives in theaters February 13, and the soundtrack album comes out the same day.
