Sturgill Simpson has announced a new album and tour under the moniker Johnny Blue Skies. Passage du Desir will arrive July 12 via Simpson’s High Top Mountain Records. It was co-produced with David Ferguson and recorded Nashville’s Clement House Recording Studio and London’s Abbey Road Studios.
Sturgill Simpson released The Ballad of Dood and Juanita, his fifth and final album, in 2021.
