Eyedress and the Marías Link Up for New Song ‘A Room Up in the Sky’

0

Eyedress and The Marías have teamed up for a new song, ‘A Room Up in the Sky’, which follows their November collaboration ‘Separate Ways’. Listen to it below.

Speaking about the new single, Eyedress said in a statement:

I made ‘A Room Up In The Sky’ with GRAMMY Award-winning producer John Hill at his studio in Venice earlier this year. It was one of the first instrumentals we made together. I was just showing Mac DeMarco some songs we made for my album that I’ve been working on, and when he heard the instrumental, he gave me an idea of how to sing the melody for my verses. I tried it and ended up loving it. After I tracked my vocals, John asked me if I’d be down to ask María to sing the chorus with me. After we made ‘Separate Ways,’ I asked her, and eventually she sent her vocals. Lyrically, I was talking about how my life changed for the better when I stopped doubting myself and really started believing in myself and my work. I realized I was subscribing to these negative thought patterns that didn’t serve me, and allowing myself to let go of that negativity really turned my life around and helped me become who I was meant to be.

“It was so easy and seamless working on ‘Separate Ways’ together. Everything flowed perfectly, so when Eyedress approached us to work on ‘A Room Up In The Sky’, it was a no-brainer for us,” María Zardoya added. “It was just as seamless. We have a lot of similar tastes when it comes to tones and similar approaches when it comes to creating.”

LMS And Workplace Safety: Ensuring A Secure Work Environment

Maintaining a safe work environment is vital for every organization. It safeguards employees from harm, enhances productivity, and fosters a positive work culture. One effective solution that companies can employ to ensure workplace safety is by utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS). Want to know how LMS platforms contribute to upholding a workplace? Here is a comprehensive guide outlining tips for using LMS for a secure work environment. Have a look.

1. Effective Training Programs for Safety Protocols

Implementing safety protocols is crucial. Equally important is providing comprehensive training on these protocols. Adaptive LMS can facilitate structured and engaging training programs that educate employees about safety procedures and guidelines. Learners can grasp the protocols effectively by delivering customized content through the system.

Additionally, an LMS enables organizations to monitor employee progress across the training modules. This functionality ensures all staff members complete safety training and stay updated with protocol adjustments or enhancements.

2. Instant Access to Safety Documentation in Real Time

Utilizing traditional methods for sharing safety guidelines and policies is time-consuming and unreliable. However, by leveraging an LMS, companies empower their employees with access to digital documentation at any time from anywhere.

Whether an employee is working on-site or remotely, they can access safety information through the LMS platform.

Furthermore, an LMS simplifies keeping safety documentation current and on time. Organizations have control over ensuring that everyone has access to the recent versions of policies as soon as they are updated. Having documentation ensures that all employees are well-informed about safety procedures.

3. Engaging Gamification Techniques

Traditional learning methods often rely on text manuals or lengthy seminars, leading some employees to lose interest or not absorb critical information effectively. An LMS offers the advantage of incorporating gamification techniques into its training modules to enhance engagement.

Using game scenarios, quizzes, and interactive simulations, an LMS captures learners’ attention and motivates them to participate actively in safety training. Employees experience a level of immersion and retention thanks to the nature of gamification elements within an LMS platform.

4. Communication and Collaboration Tools

Integrating communication tools into an LMS enables collaboration among employees regarding safety matters. These features include chat functions, discussion boards, and even virtual classrooms. By implementing a learning management platform for communication, employees can easily exchange their experiences, ask questions, or seek clarifications regarding safety protocols.

Furthermore, promoting collaboration through the Learning Management System (LMS) connects team members from different departments or physical locations. This advantage fosters knowledge sharing and teamwork among colleagues with perspectives and experiences when it comes to ensuring safety.

5. Monitoring Progress and Identifying Areas for Improvement

Additionally, an LMS provides reporting and analytics capabilities that allow organizations to monitor their employees’ progress in safety training programs effectively. Supervisors can track completion rates, quiz scores, and the time spent on modules. This valuable insight helps supervisors assess employees’ mastery of safety procedures.

Using this data, organizations can identify areas requiring attention or resources to enhance workplace safety. Tracking employee progress ensures that potential gaps are identified and proactively addressed.

6. Continuous Learning and Safety Updates

Maintaining safety is a process that requires continuous learning and adaptation to anticipate and address potential risks. One valuable tool for achieving this is a Learning Management System (LMS), which offers updates on safety standards, regulations, and best practices.

By integrating the industry information into the LMS platform, employees can stay informed about changes that might affect their work routines. It ensures they are always equipped with the knowledge to handle potential safety hazards or emergencies.

Furthermore, an LMS can include microlearning modules that periodically deliver bite safety tips or reminders. These short modules serve as refreshers for employees, reinforcing safety practices consistently.

Closing Thoughts

Incorporating a Learning Management System (LMS) in creating and maintaining a work environment proves advantageous for organizations. The benefits range from training programs and immediate access to safety documentation to engaging gamification techniques and fostering collaboration through communication tools – all of which play roles in ensuring workplace safety.

Moreover, an LMS provides reporting capabilities that allow organizations to monitor employee progress and proactively identify areas for improvement. Additionally, it facilitates learning by delivering real-time updates on safety standards.

To ensure a working environment, businesses can empower employees by implementing a customized LMS solution to meet the organization’s requirements. Investing in such a solution demonstrates an approach to workplace safety and fosters a culture of security, responsibility, and well-being among all employees.
