Charli XCX has joined the cast of Martin Scorsese’s next film, What Happens at Night. The director, of course, represented Film in the cover art of the pop singer’s latest album Music, Fashion, Film, sitting alongside John Cale and Marc Jacobs.
Variety reports that Charli will make a cameo in What Happens at Night, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence as a married couple who travel to a small European town to adopt a baby (so, not Stockholm?). The film is a co-production between Apple and StudioCanal, and does not yet have a release date. Mads Mikkelsen, Patricia Clarkson, and Jared Harris also appear in it.
