Lambrini Girls are back with a pair of new songs, ‘The Basement’ and ‘Split’. They’re taken from their forthcoming album No Refunds, from which they’ve already shared ‘Bang Bang Bang’ and ‘Cult of Celebrity’. Listen below.
Wiry and increasingly distorted, ‘The Basement’ revolves around the story of “a sad little man who gets radicalised by the manosphere,” according to the duo. Commenting on ‘Split’, which is more stripped-back, bassist Selin said: “It was exciting and challenging to do something that’s so different to the rest of the album and what we do in general, but to make it as powerful in its own way.”
No Refunds comes out January 15 via City Slang.
