Martha Skye Murphy

Martha Skye Murphy grew up in an artistic environment in South East London before going on to study History of Art at Cambridge University. She was just 9 years old when she first collaborated with Nick Cave and Warren Ellis, recording vocals for the soundtrack to John Hillcoat’s 2005 Western The Proposition, and in 2013, contributed backing vocals to Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds’ Push the Sky Away. Following a series of EPs, her debut album, Um, comes out June 2024.
